Domestic Landlords and letting agents.

Property Clearance and Clean provide three major services for you.

  • End of tenancy items and rubbish removal
  • Storage of (ex) tenant belongings
  • End of tenancy cleaning

We can provide 1, 2 or all 3 of the above services to you. You know longer need to deal and liaise and organise with 2, 3 or more companies.

We can also provide the following:

End of tenancy items and rubbish removal

We can remove rubbish and unwanted items from your property whether it is a few items or a whole house.

We are a fully licenced and insured waste carrier with a concern for the environment. All items item we remove will be subject to assessment using the Waste Hierarchy. This means that taking things to landfill is the very last option. If appropriate we give items to charity and sort and recycle wherever possible.

Please note there are somethings we cannot remove. For example:

  • Animals or fish.
  • Explosives, firearms.
  • Asbestos
  • Biological or Medical waste
  • Tyres

Storage of (ex) tenant belongings

Has your (ex) tenant left, leaving behind items and furniture? You can’t legally dispose of it straight away. Doing so may leave you open to court action.

See www.which.co.uk, www.landlordlawblog.co.uk, www.landlordzone.co.uk

If you have a property you could let, but still has the ex-tenants belongings in it then we can help. We can move the belongings into storage, clear your property of rubbish and clean it. You can then start letting your property.

Please note there are somethings we cannot store. For example:

  • Animals, fish or plants.
  • Explosives, firearms.
  • Asbestos
  • Biological or Medical waste
  • Oil or petrol
  • Perishable foods
  • Tyres

End of tenancy cleaning

We require the electricity, gas (for hot water) and water to be on.

We require the property to be clear of rubbish and waste.

Quotes from: www.which.co.uk, www.landlordlawblog.co.uk and www.landlordzone.co.uk.

"Has a tenant vacated your home but not taken all of their property with them?

Don't immediately throw it away, as your tenant could make a claim against you for damages."

"As harsh as this may seem a landlord is under a legal obligation to take care of tenant’s possessions. Protecting, removal and storage of uncollected goods can result in extra costs that the landlord doesn’t want but the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977 does provide some guidance."
